OSAEDI 2023 PROJECT
ACHEKUOGENE SEMIRAT emerge as winner in the just concluded OSAEDI 2023 Project.

ACHEKUOGENE SEMIRAT who hails from Iddo, Okpella has be declared winner of the FASHIONPRENEUR COMPETITION/TALENT HUNT Organized by Okpella Skill Acquisition & Entrepreneurship Dev. Initiative - Osaedi 

The competition lasted for 2hrs and 30mins and was done by 10 contestants. 
The winner was given the sum of N150,000 and a sewing machine while the first and second runner up were also given a sewing machine each and the sum of N100,000 and N50,000 respectively.
Aside the 10 contestants, two other persons (males) with disabilities were also empowered. One was given a sewing machine and the other was given some tailoring items.

The event was graced by some notable Religious and traditional Leaders in Okpella, amongst others are Imam Danzumi (The Chief Imam of Awuyemi) Mallam Abdulkareem Abass Afegbua (Deputy Imam II of Okpella), Pastor Adewole Solomon (Founder, Bethel Church), Chief A.K Giwa, Mallam Abdulkabiru Jimoh (Afegbua Youths President) and many others. The leaders and invitees present commended the efforts of the Coordinator/Organizer of this event. 

The Security agencies (ODAGBE VIGILANTE GROUP) represented by Abdulrafiu Uroy Afegbua were also present.

Some of the Executives and members of the Etsako United Club of Nigeria who were also present applauded the contestants for the great display of talents. And also appreciated the Coordinator of this program; the person of Hajia Hadiza Abutu-Ibrahim for always using her efforts and resources to empower the Girl Child and Women.

The Chairman of Okpella Tailors Association; Chief Jerome who was also one of the judges expressed Joy over the exercise. He urged the contestants to also work hard to improve their skills. He appreciated and prayed for the Coordinator and Organizers of the program.

The Chairman of the Occasion, Alhaji Siyafinu Afegbua (Baba Ekpe) while giving a remark applauded the Coordinator and her subordinates for organizing such a huge event. He prayed that God will continue to bless the Coordinator; Hajia Hadiza Abutu-Ibrahim for this humanitarian service.

Mrs. Margret Agol who was also among the judges commended the efforts of Hajia Hadiza, OSAEDI Coordinator and urged her never to give up. She also advised that others should try to key into the humanitarian service.

Alhaji Siyafinu Afegbua (Chairman of the Occasion) further advised the Coordinator; Hajia Hadiza never to get tired of this humanitarian services because the reward is not just here on Earth but also in the hereafter.
